The Raj K Soni Legacy Fund was created in memory of 18-year old Raj Soni who was tragically lost after a cycling accident on 2nd August 2012.

Its purpose is to support sporting and musical opportunities for young people up to the age of 21 across the West of England.

As one of just a few local charities aimed at inspiring young people through sport and music, we raise money through donations and sponsored events, such as cricket, cycling, swimming, music and running.

Over the last two years the Fund has awarded £45,825 to 16 local charitable organisations plus a further £1,300 to the Portishead Pool Community Trust who donate their services and use of the Portishead Open Air Pool for our flagship ‘Longest Swim’ event each June. Local people raising money for the benefit of local youngsters

All monies raised by the Raj K Soni Legacy Fund reaches its target audience because those involved with the Fund do so voluntarily.

In this way we ensure maximum impact by investing in the local community for the local community.

Many thanks to all of those involved in making this possible.
