Our flagship fund raising event at Portishead Open Air pool, The Longest Swim on the Longest Day (midsummer’s day but counting back each year since 2013!) is on Friday 19th June.

We want to make this year even bigger so please sign up for the swim by downloading this form, filling it in and sending it back to us attached by email to tom@silentpartner.co.uk or info@rajksoni.org.uk.portishead-open-air-pool-300x191

The swim slots are for half an hour throughout the day so sign up quickly to get the one you want! There is no minimum sponsorship to raise this year, just as much as you can. If you would like to get a team together to swim then we’re really happy for people to do this too. There will be a BBQ and bar after the event (as usual!) and music from local young people.

Everyone is welcome no matter how few or how many lengths you swim - its about coming together as friends and as a community to raise money that will help local young people. Please help us make this a great event ,because of course we want to raise money for the Legacy Fund, but this event has a special quality to it of bringing people together as a community, and you will feel part of that whether you know one other person there, or  twenty.

If you haven’t taken part before and would like to talk to us before you commit, then please feel free to contact us on 07796 953414

Howzat!

In September 2015 Krishna’s friend from Leeds Uni (who luckily now all live in London!) organised another fantastic cricket match to raise money for Raj’s fund. The amazing Charlie Jardine, and the reigning champion Henry (Pez) Perryment, organised the match at Streatham & Marlborough CC which is a lovely ground and to whom we are very grateful. The Raj Royals XI and the Soni Spitfires XI once again donned their whites and gave us a stunning display of cricketing prowess! Krishna and her gorgeous friends had a never ending supply of Pimms going throughout the day, and the boys did their usual fantastic job on the BBQ. It was such a fun day and everyone gave so generously – we really can’t thank you all enough. You are great friends to Krishna and to us, and we appreciate what you do so much. We can’t wait to see you all again at the ground in 2016. Oh and by the way, the Soni Spitfires won and we raised £1100 – whoohoo!! Big big love x

On yer bike

Also in the planning is a cycling event, so again please let us know if you’re interested in taking part or helping to organise it. We would also love to hear from anyone who has a fund raising idea, or who would like to choose the Raj K Soni Legacy Fund as their ‘nominated’ charity. Getting some extra help or Corporate sponsorship would be amazing.
